Work in a startup environment with potential to grow with the company
We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who is excited to take ownership of our tech stack, build new features from scratch, and drive the development of our integration infrastructure. As the senior engineer on the team, you’ll play a key role in shaping our product, optimizing performance, and scaling our technology to support real-world healthcare environments.
Send your resume and a brief introduction to jobs@literaseed.io. Please include examples of your previous work (e.g., GitHub profile, portfolio, links to apps you’ve built, etc.) and tell us why you’re excited to join our startup! Please attach your resume as a PDF with the filename format: [YourLastName_FirstName_JobTitle].
In the U.S., one in five U.S. residents (67 million) speak a non-English language as their primary language. Additionally, one in three people (120 million) have low health literacy, which disproportionately affects both low-income households and racial and ethnic minority groups. LiteraSeed is focusing on a major, overlooked problem in the U.S. healthcare system that is also globally translatable.
At LiteraSeed, we believe nobody should be denied high-quality healthcare due to a communication barrier. As a small, fast-moving team, we value creativity, independence, and a strong drive to solve meaningful problems.
LiteraSeed is a bootstrapped, National Science Foundation-funded startup developing cutting-edge digital health solutions to improve patient-provider communication. Our language agnostic, visual-based platform helps patients with low literacy and low health literacy effectively capture and share symptoms with their doctors, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes. We are currently piloting our product with Arizona’s largest safety-net healthcare system and will soon be integrating into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
