Why it Matters

In the U.S., one in five U.S. residents (67 million) speak a non-English language as their primary language. Additionally, one in three people (120 million) have low health literacy, which disproportionately affects both low-income households and racial and ethnic minority groups. LiteraSeed is focusing on a major, overlooked problem in the U.S. healthcare system that is also globally translatable.
